Low Carb Chili Recipe


Ingredients:

1 16 ounce can of crushed tomatoes
1 16 ounce can of diced tomatoes
2 lbs ground Turkey or beef
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cumin
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
2 bay leaves
1/2 cup chopped green peppers
1 can kidney beans (I also add a can of black beans)

Directions:

Brown the turkey and drain the fat off, what little there. Then put everything into a pot and bring to a boil. Then turn the heat down and cook at a low simmer for about 3 hours. The only carbs that you get out of this comes mainly from the tomato paste.
